Youth Work and Children's Services
Youth Work is designed to assist young people's emotional and social development through positive interactions within an informal setting. The aim is to develop supportive professional relationships with young people, provide helpful life experiences and prepare them to make meaningful contributions to wider society. Youth workers tackle a whole spectrum of issues that a young person may face, including bullying, lack of self-esteem, addiction, mental illness, special needs, concerns with schooling and many other difficulties that come with being a unique, young individual.

Tutoring and Home Work Help
This could be run as a 'one-off' or on a continual basis. Some of the subjects we offer include English language (various skill levels), psychology, sociology, philosophy and many more. Please contact us to find out what other subjects are available. Self-Esteem Building Tailored to your individual needs, self-esteem building sessions can be run informally or as part of a structured workshop. |
Dealing with Addictions
Abuse of alcohol, drugs or other forms of self harm can be addressed. We can help the client to find healthy alternatives and coping strategies to "reduce harm," or even quit. Special Needs Mentoring young people who have special learning needs and assisting their educational development. This can involve in-school teaching support, home or community-based services. Mental Health Mentoring young people who have a mental illness and rehabilitating their return into everyday life. |
